John has spent over 10 years in the Audio Visual sector and has gathered a vast amount of knowledge during this time on what works and how it can enhance an users experience. Always willing to listen first to gain an understanding of what would be the perfect fit for a client, and to find a perfect solution that works for them
Prior to Finance Emma worked within one of Virgin’s start-up businesses. From there Emma moved into Finance and has been working within this industry for 20 years, initially within Account Management in the Venture Finance Sector, to then running an Accounts Support Business for ten years before moving into industry. As well as having a financial perspective, customer service stands highly within Emma’s remit.
Aaron has worked alongside Microcomms from the beginning and with over 16 years experience in the tech sector; running his own business, speciailsing in Digital Transformation he brings a wealth of knowledge to our company.
With fresh ideas and a thirst for new challenges Aaron oversees the technical delivery teams and supports the wider company delivering large scale projects, globally – fuelling the fire for growth at Microcomms.
Hal has been in the ICT industry for 20 years providing solutions in Oracle, UNIX, Consultancy, Training, Asset Management and Telecoms. Having managed clients from start up to the likes of The Post Office, British Gas and GEC. Hal takes great pride in providing the very best solution fit for the client.
Lara is responsible for all HR streams, data protection and office management. Lara gained her admin experience from a 10 year career in the wines & spirits industry as a data analyst & commercial manager. More recently she spent 17 years as part of the senior leadership team at a large secondary academy in Bristol. Here she was responsible for all examinations, pupil data, management information systems, data protection & administrative operations. Lara ensures that Microcomms’ day to day back office and staff support are running smoothly and effectively.
Sophia oversees our health and safety compliances,quality management, environmental objectives, accreditations, project resources and day to day operations.
Sophia spent 10 years of her career in business support roles, gaining extensive knowledge and experience across a diverse range of areas and industries before moving into operational management.
Sophia’s attention to detail, problem solving skills and process development techniques are instrumental in maintaining seamless efficiencies and compliance.
Matthew has worked in the IT industry for 8 Years, 6 and a half of those at Microcomms.
Matthew has worked his way up the ranks within Microcomms gaining knowledge from challenging projects and from other staff members, working on Telephony Systems, WiFi Configuration and Installation, Hyper-V and VM-Ware Servers and Network Infrastructure.
Hayley joined Microcomms as an Account Manager in 2019. After gaining extensive experience of all our products and the systems we use on a day to day basis, Hayley took on a role as Business Support Analyst creating a robust support structure, together with effective practices for the Sales Team and a focus on System management. Hayley also supports the Finance and Operations Departments providing key data analytics to support our quality management and customer satisfaction.
Stephen specialises in everything fibre and structured cabling. Steven or Stevie B as he’s known to many, has been in the Data/Fibre world since 2003.
Working on major infrastructure projects at some well-known locations across UK and Europe; Heathrow Airport, Eden Project and Chartres in Paris to name a few. Whether it’s a small copper installation or a large multi-zone fibre deployment you can guarantee Stephen will be seeing the job through.
Kieran is one of our first line IT Engineers in our Technical Team. With an abundance of IT qualifications and experience, Kieran spent 6 years serving in the forces, travelling the world working on software and databased for military operations. Kieran loves a challenge and is passionate about working on projects. The next time you reach out to our support desk, changes are you’ll be greeted by Kieran, ready to tackle your IT issues head on!
Elliott joined Microcomms as an Account Executive in 2021 after graduating from the University of Bath with a first-class honours degree in Business Management.
After a short orientation into the world of tech Elliott moved into an Account Management position where he is now the first point of contact for many of Microcomms’ high-profile clients, working locally in the South West, and assisting with managing larger national and international projects across Europe.
Sennen joined Microcomms in September 2023, stepping into the role of Operations Administrator. Sennen loves a thorough process and seamlessly navigates administration across the organisation.
Sennen previously spent 2 years within the NHS Bookings department and prior to that, 4 years working at Lidl as a county wide training mentor supporting new starters. This experience has given Sennen a range of strong administrative and organisational skills which aid her flawless delivery.
